New Mills Business Network

New Mills Business Network is an initiative developed by New Mills School Business & Enterprise College.

Members receive support and advice from each other. Regular guest speakers have provided business information and there is the opportunity to develop your business through subjects ranging from Health & Safety, ICT, wellbeing in the workplace, media, marketing techniques and more. The benefits of networking in a relaxed, informal and welcoming atmosphere have proved to be the success of the New Mills Business Network.

Glossop Business Network

A Business Network launched in 2006 by Barbara Hastings-Asatourian and Kathy Ford, who through setting up their own businesses realised the value of networking. Glossop Business Network helps businesses to meet together in a relaxed environment to exchange information, hand out promotional materials and learn more about each others' services.

What's different about the Glossop Business Network?

There are networks outside Glossop, but for people working or doing business in Glossop, it is not always easy to travel to them. They set up this network to be convenient for Glossop, efficient, (because the meetings take place when we wouldn't otherwise be working) and really inexpensive - no annual membership fees, and half the price of many other networking events, coming to GBN can mean you save up to £20 compared to other Breakfast Clubs.

How often and where do they meet?

They meet on the first Wednesday of each month for breakfast at at Glossopdale 6th Form Centre, Talbot House, Talbot Road, Glossop and once a month on the third Friday at lunchtime at Va Bene, Norfolk Street, Glossop, over a wonderful Italian buffet.
